I'm back to a one hour show this week, but that just means it will be an excellent hour - I have a fantastic record by The Silent Years for the featured album of the week, and once again I find myself having a hard time narrowing it down to only three tracks for the playlist. The band's self-titled debut is one of the best things I've heard this week, so I'm looking forward to sharing it with you. You just have to LOVE a band that makes a video like this.
And the free mp3 of the week was a tough choice as well, because I'm actually playing a few songs that are free and legal downloads, but I settled on featuring this track by Loto, a Portugese band that emailed me recently to let me know about their album Beat Riot. It doesn't look like you can get the album in the States anywhere right now, but they did provide this song, which features Peter Hook of New Order:
