Wahoo! I recently got my hands on the new Junior Boys album, Begone Dull Care (out April 7), and today I get the awesome news that they're coming back to Nashville on May 1 to play Mercy Lounge with Max Tundra!
I got to check out half of their set at Exit/In back in April 2007, and though I lamented the fact that the room was empty-ish because everyone seemed to be at Andrew Bird (the show I skipped out of early to go to Junior Boys), I'm glad the low attendance didn't keep the band from returning to town. Their new album is at least 20 degrees chiller than 2006's So This Is Goodbye, but I'm willing to bet they'll still get a packed room dancing this time around.
