Turn On, Tune In, Work Out Mix
I told you back at the beginning of the month that I was working on the perfect workout mix, and I'm happy to say that I finally nailed the track listing down during a few trips to the gym this week and I'm ready to share. I even gave the mix the ultimate test after work today, and seriously, if it can motivate me for a full hour at the end of a long day that followed a longer night filled with too much beer and nowhere near enough sleep - you better believe it kicks some ass. Plus, I think it doubles as a rockin' dance party mix, though I haven't tested that hypothesis yet.
The Turn On, Tune In, Work Out Mix clocks in at just over an hour, and I think it sets a good pace (though my weapon of choice is the elliptical and this was created with that in mind, so I'm not sure how it'll work for runners). There's a warm-up track and a cool-down track, and in between I tried to balance the longer, more repetitive songs that you can space out to with shorter, sometimes louder or more motivational ones. Things pick up a little along the way, and like any good workout you have to push a little more at the end (I made sure the cowbell was there to help you out though). I think the whole thing's perfect, but I'd love to know what you think.

Wow, I was about to download your entire workout mix, but then I realized that I'm already working out to a bunch of the same songs. What good taste you have!
