Rocky Votolato - "Portland is Leaving"

This is the most personal selection on the list, so I'm probably not going to say much about it. Not that all the music I enjoy isn't personal - I think more often than not I identify with how a specific piece of music makes me feel rather than the way it sounds, and maybe even more often than that I can trace specific songs, artists or genres of music to the people they make me think of.  Rocky Votolato released Makers at the beginning of this year, and after the first time I heard "Portland is Leaving" I began listening to it constantly, and it became a song that I kept coming back to for the rest of the year.  I love it, although I'm not sure I would if the timing wasn't the same.
