On Tuesday, February 14, Sigur Rós will be playing here in Nashville at the Ryman Auditorium. If you didn't get your tickets back in November (like I did), you still have a chance to see the sold-out Valentine's Day show - because thanks to Filter, I have one pair of tickets to give away.
The rules of this contest are simple. Every week on my radio show on WRVU, I feature a free mp3 - a song that is legally available for download from either a band or record label's website. On one show, that mp3 was "Starálfur" by Sigur Rós. Just send an email to outtheothercontests@gmail.com with your full name and the date of that radio show (if you look around this site a little, it's easy to find), and I will enter your name in the drawing.
All entries must be submitted by 8 p.m. (central) on Thursday, February 9. The winner will be randomly drawn (by my sister) and announced on the website on Friday morning. Filter is mailing me the tickets, so if you win we'll make arrangements for you to pick them up at some point before the show (or the day of the show, if you happen to be driving in for the concert).
